Up for auction is Fushigi Yugi vol 8: Friend, book is used with shelf wear with one green mark going across the top near the spine. This one is a first edition, duplicate out of my collection - at this time no others will be listed.

Yes, this one was one of my favorites. I'm missing 2-3 & 9+ though, and ended up buying vol 8 again by accident. @_@

lol, it's hard to keep up when you have a bunch of collections that are missing various volumes... At least that's how mine is.

im sure i have at least vol 7 so i'll aim for this one just incase i dont have it (ever since vix switched cover formats its hard to tell what i have and dont have (had the same thing for my ....finnallly completed....utena series where i have 3 big boos and 3 normal sized mangas (whenu count the movie adaption that is))

I love this series. It is my favorite! I have all the anime for this but it was purchased from japan with english subtitles because we didn't wanna wait for the american release. i used to have the beginning of it and was waiting for the money to finish it. Then I came home from school one day and there was a box in my room and my mother's new husband told me to fill it up with the ones I wanted keep. The ones that don't fit get tossed. Well, I really wanted to keep the series that were finished and this one got tossed sadly. Now that I am not living with him anymore I can get these! Yay! (I was in a 3 year manga drought for a few years. I have only had a few new ones since the divorce. My mother likes manga and anime, her ex hates it. Hence why most went out the window.) So since this series got thrown out I know for a fact I do not have this one!

I though I would share this volume instead of just returning for credit. That is such a shame that many of manga got tossed, some people just cannot comprehend the cost and love of manga and anime. Good luck on the auction.

I agree, If the series has five books that is about 50 dollars! A friend I met after the accident said she wished she had met me a few weeks prior to it because I could have had her hold them for me until she divorced him or I moved out. I still cry at the thought since I probably had to trash over three hundred dollars worth. :tear: Manga and Anime haters are mean.
