OMG I have got to have this, mine was stolen along with everything else I owned while I was out of town working. I so miss it, mine was given to me by a dear friend and to this day the loss still upsets me. They took literally everything from clothes, beds, cleaning products, Christmas decorations, collectibles, literally everything!!

The clock is gorgeous, is it in working order or has the chain slipped off the gears? How will you make sure they do not come off during shipping? Thank you for sharing...

I hope I didn't insinuate that you wouldn't ship with the utmost care. I had forgot you said it was a key wind up and remembered when I moved mine I was not careful not to let the chains slip and my dear friend and I literally spent 3 weeks trying at least once if not many times everyday before we were able to get the chains back on the gears.
How wonderful it must have been to have your own shop. I have always wanted a resale/antique store or pawn shop. I bet you have experienced some wonderful items. I have an old clock key and wonder if they might be universal to a certain extent? Building my credits for bidding. Fanned and watching.

This appears to be made of/by Rococco, a pressed wood/mache type product. since it has a key, are the weights (I see something that LOOKS like weights on the bottom, what are used to wind it, or the key, or maybe one winds the clock itself and one winds the cuckoo???? Rococco is not Black Forest tho, as are the big old Swiss ones, with the ornate actual carved wood. What is the size, height, width and depth?

I got a key, that should fit it in another antique clock, and I know where to buy another key for this one online.
