Elmo by Van Osdell is usually a boy but this one is made like a girl. It has rag tied pigtail wig glued on, porcelain hands and legs. Body is cloth. Glass eyes. The doll can be standing on a stand as well as sitting. One hand has an opening to put something in the hand. Doll is in excellent condition 20" tall. Dress and pants are hand made for this doll. You could also take it apart and remake the doll if you don't like the body.
