The listing, Cherry Jewelry Box has ended.

This is a gently used cherry jewelry box. The box has storage trays is the perfect spot for your favorite jewelry pieces, keepsakes and photos. The box includes green felt-lined compartments, with two ring rolls and open storage areas to cushion your finest pieces, and keep your pieces neatly organized. A heart shaped mirror is inside on the lid.

Minor scratches, the photos I took with my phone show the fingerprints on it. There is no discoloration.

what is the measurement on the drawers? how high, how deep, how wide? thanks.

Each drawer is 7" long,(meaning from left to right) by 4.5" wide (meaning from front to back) and is just a fraction over 1" deep.

The top drawer has a ring roll in one compartment and is divided into four compartments total. The next drawer has two lengthwise compartments, the last drawer has no compartments in it. Just all open area.

The actual jewelry box is 7.5" tall, 8.5" wide and is 5.5" deep. Hope that helps!

Oh and this DOES NOT have a music box in it. Since the one I am replacing it with does have one, I thought I might mention that.

does it keep sterling silver from tarnishing?

Hi there. No matter what, Pure or mixed, nothing stops Silver from tarnishing. When Silver is exposed to the air and atmosphere, it causes a chemical reaction that creates something called Silver Sulfate. That's what that lovely little black mark is on your finger. A Sulfate stain.

Here's a list of things that Silver has a bad reaction with: Wool, Rubber Bands, Latex Gloves, Oils from your Hands and Fingers, Ammonia, Chlorinated Water, Carpet Padding, Air Pollution, Perfumes, Hair Sprays, and believe it or not, some foods can even make Silver tarnish. Foods like: Onions, Mayonnaise, Salad Dressing, Eggs and Salty Foods. (Put down those Chips!)

In fact, just the humidity alone can cause Silver to corrode!

So no, to answer your question. As long as it gets air (and will since this is not an air tight box) it will still tarnish. You just have to make sure to clean it before you put it away so the pretty shine will last longer. Hope that helps! Great question!

Today I am adding in two items. The first is a silver colored, brushed finished, small heart necklace, with chain being a size 16". Great for a young girl.

Next, I am adding in a small silver heart ring, size 6 that has a little black heart in the middle of it. Very sweet for a young lady.

There will be other things in there as well, but those are a surprise. Check back tomorrow for the next thing added!

Ok, first item to go into the box is a lovely pair of yellow gold, wire earrings with lab-created blue sapphires.

Next up... A mood ring. Gently used, works wonderfully. Silver-toned. Approx a size 7. Fits my index finger and my ring finger is a size 6. I am looking around to see what else I can add in to this auction. More bonuses will be added into a box, not necessarily jewelry. Thanks for looking and bidding!
