The listing, **RELIST*** SPECTACULAR- 5 CARAT RUBY RING W/ Diamond accents in 10K gold has ended.

This is a relist - and this is the wording from the original seller. I have had this ruby checked out and it is a SYNTHETIC/ MAN MADE RUBY - not a natural stone. It IS, however - still gorgeous.I can tell you that the size is closer to a 5 1/2 or 6. It is really 10K gold and it really is spectacular.
The GIN price is what I originally paid for it. - I should at least try to recover it :-).

"original seller: This spectacular ruby ring is between 4.5 and 5 carats and is approx.3/4" wide and approx 7/10th" long and approx.4-5 MM deep/high. On each side of the large stone are filigree settings and each setting houses the setting of a diamond( which makes 4 diamonds total) I am not to sure of the exact sixe but being that it is gold, it is re-sizable. However, when my husband bought it for me, I generaly could waer bewtween a 7 and a 7 1/2 so I would venture to say it is somewhere in that vicinity.
The entire ring is a raised setting and and ornate "high" setting but the Ruby is securely set with 4 strong and large prongs so no danger of it falling out.
This is my birthstone and one of about 56 that I already have and to not be corney-it sort of detracts from my 3 Carat Diamond engament ring. IYes I have worn it on my right hand but it is so beautiful that people grab my right hand and then I get all the oh's and ah's.

you don't just give away credits to people and that duffer10 is super rude to even ask you to do so...i guess she wants you to bid on something she has or something like that, other than that way, you can't give away credits!!
but on a positive note, this ring is beautiful...not my birthstone, but i love rubies...the synthetic kind are great...they seem to look richer, so definitely fanned, and watching!! :)

Last night I found other ways to get credits is you can join survey sites for so many credits, join a book club, etc. there are many offers. Just go to the 'get more credits' at the top of the page.

its too small for me and the stone doesnt really match my stubby fingers. if it were real, id size it and give it to my mother in law - but she wont wear a man made. - even though i think its prettier than any genuine ring would be.

yes weve all been there. just list some items and your credits will add up. and soon youll be able to bid on the larger items. just a note - if you can afford it - gift cards sell for high values - so list a 10 dollar or 25 dollar one if you can - that'll bring in the credits for you. :)

@rib1033 do not give anyone credits! I don't think you can even do that. If someone needs credits they can purchase them thru this site. So if that person wants your ring so badly, buy the credits and stop begging you that's just not right! You need to make back what you paid out. And since her name is the same as mine it's making my skin crawl because of the begging issue, which I would never do. I know that sounds strange but that's how it's making me feel.

@rib 1033 I just went thru almost the same thing you are only it was the gold that was in question. The ring was stamped 14k but when I took it to my jeweler and she tested it and I watch her do this it did not have any gold in it. A big fat ZERO % gold and it was stamped! She was as surprised as I was that it had no gold. She told me it's very rare to find something that is stamped and not be gold. So everyone don't be running to your jeweler to find out if it's real unless you are suspense like I was about this ring I had.
