Really? What's your tat of? I have a hawaiian one too - it's a turtle (honu) with a plumeria in the center, instead of a turtle shell. My house is all decorated in Hawaiian stuff too...I can't imagine why I miss it so much when I see all of that every day! Lol

I have the Hawaiian state flower with Hibiscus and my dog tags so far. I have been buying books and also language books to study the true history and culture of the Samoan Hawaiian culture, not just as a beautiful tourist spot; but really in depth the true Hawaii. Had not much time to read though.

my bedroom is done up in vintage hawaiiana, we bought some metal signs at the swap meet- great place for bargains, btw. our living room is beach theme, but in hues of aqua blue and cream. last year, we changed it from asian theme (which we had for years) and the change is dramatic.

I love the history of it. right now I am reading Molokai. It is an excellent book so far. It is about the Leprecy and how in the 1800's many Hawaiian's were cast off to the Island for Lepracy colonies. Seperated from family and friend's. Very good book so far.
