Please ask any questions and I'll attempt to answer. I haven't collected stamps since the early 80's so I'll do my best to answer.

The first 60 covers are in the album back to back and the last 20 are singles - you can see front and back.

See last two pictures to see examples of most of the back of the covers. Most covers are Fleetwood covers. I think maybe 2-4 are not.

Do most of these have cachets?

Most do. I haven't collected these since the early 80's so I had to look to verify what a cachet was. According to the American First Day Cover Society - "cachet (C), pronounced ka-shay, which compliments or tells us something about the stamp." They point to the graphic and details on the front of the first day cover. There is nothing inside most of the covers. I added two pictures of the back of the covers to show what detail is there. I also added more to the description, please take a look.

I had not looked at all the pictures, or I would have known they had cachets. What I see looks like a nice lot of FDCs. And the album is included, right? I have been trying to find somewhere to buy pages (especially with three holes for notebooks) for FDCs, but can only find ones that the slots are too large. With the album being full, I still will need pages for the rest plus all I already have.......gives me something to search for in ALL my FREE time!!!!

Very mouth watering auction...but, unfortunately, you WILL NOT mail "free" to
India & i can simply not "afford to pay" the shipping.
Case of "Beg, borrow & an unacceptable 3rd option" for me... L-0-L ;-)

I can "promise to pay whenever i can afford to, in the foreseeable future"

Not to worry, madam (mom... ) !

I started where you left off ;-) AND am still ardently "collecting" although it is
better described as "hoarding" ( and, it's not another word for BILLBOARD )

My USA collection can outshine that of many a RICH Americans, a 100-times
more well-off than poor me. I have really nurtured it like a baby with a break in
1990* when money was "better spent" on bringing up our only son.
I re-started with undiluted fervor the day he got a job ;-) L-0-L
Not that i had quit totally, ever... only, like i said, "money was hard to spare" what
with education being so costly [... even in India ;-) ;-0].
