Cook Books (and MORE) Extravaganza!

I am moving and do not want to pack all these books! Help me out and take them off my hands. I am listing them all in this tiered-style auction. To start off, the winner will get any two books of their choice. After that, for each 125 credits you get to choose an additional book. For example,

125 credits = 2 books
250 credits = 3 books
375 credits = 4 books
500 credits = 5 books
625 credits = 6 books
and so on...

If the GIN is used, you get all the books listed here. I received these books from my mom who spent a lot of years collecting them as well as gaining a few from her mom-in-law but they are just gathering dust here. I would rather just give them all away but who can afford the shipping???? I don't know how popular cook books are on Listia so this will be a new experience for me. I will send them all if it goes that high. Shipping is free and will be sent as soon as I receive the winners Listia verified address. I will be sending this via media mail.

Most of these books are in good to great condition. All are readable and most have some kind of normal usage wear. Some were purchased and never used so those are even better. Look closely because some are from the 1950-60s and if you like older books you will love these. If you have questions about the condition of a certain books please ask before bidding. That way there are no surprises in the mail!!!

I will start the list of books here and continue in the comments below...

Here is the list:

The Complete Family Cook Book
In the Kitchen with Rosie: Oprah Winfrey's favorite recipes by Rosie Daily
Christmas Cookies
Home Cookin'
Bread Machine Magic

Wow!! What an acution!! I already have so many self-help books and cook books, etc, that my husband would probably be upset (to say the least) if I got more. However, I LOVE some of the other books you have listed, so I am going to try and bid high enough to win and pick the following:
City of Ashes
Radiant Shadows
Dark Flame
Raven's Gate
Night Pleasures
Feather
Other
Eleganta

Also, if you wanted, you could do a seperate auction with these books and GIN, charge shipping, and I will get them if I can. As a fellow lister, I will understand if you don't want to do that - it was just an idea. I wanted you to know that I will be more than happy to get those books lol

Anyway, this is a fabulous auction!!! One of the best book auctions I have seen here.

Thank you! I really enjoyed reading those, too. Thanks for the feedback. I never know exactly how to list these. The shipping is not cheap but I hate asking for shipping fees to I just ask for a little more in credits. If they don't go this time, I will do as you recommend. Good luck

wat if i want only 1 book

That is a tough one. The number of books is determined by the winning bid. If you only want one then I will only send that one, if you win. Your choice.

i apologize i am new. i see a couple books i want, how do i bid and tell u what i want and get them? sorry for sounding dumb.
Feb 28th, 2012 at 4:49:03 PM PST by

No apology is necessary. I will do my best to explain. First, all the books listed are available to be chosen by the winning bidder. How many the winner can choose depends on how high the bid is at the end. So..for example, the bid is currently at 2. If that is the last bid at the end the winner will be able to choose two books out of all the books listed. If the bid ends somewhere between 125-249, the winner chooses three books. 250-374 the winner chooses 4 books and so on. Does that help?
