Have had this router for a couple years, never had any problems with it. I had to upgrade my house to accommodate a wider range of wifi useage. This ole' Belkin though, still has some good use in it.

Great deal considering the starting price is 1 credit. It could leave 499 more free things out there for someone else, right? Let's be honest here, I'm gonna toss it in a free box with leftover foam peanuts that I have, take it to Shannon at the post office, have her weigh it and tell me what it will cost. If I have it packed light, I should be able to get priority mail for about $5, right? Is it cheaper?? who knows. Will I need to settle for first class instead to save money? Maybe. Do I want burdened with that? No. $5 is fair. Might it leave an excess of change in my pocket? possibly, but it is not significant in the grander scheme of things. I might even go $4 bucks, who knows, but sorry bro, gotta keep the post office in business and give them props for bringing you the shiznit. No can do on the free shipping here, sorry.

To be EXTREMELY fair here. $5 cash or $4 money order. If you don't feel comfortable sending cash in the mail, spend the 99 cents for a money order, doesn't matter to me. I'll take the loss. Obviously, I am going to mail it at the lowest possible rate I can get in the smallest box I have. It's not the intrinsic value of the router for me in this, per say. Just the burden of getting rid of it for free. I guess I wouldn't gripe about having to chip in myself. It's what makes this website so interesting.

I have several Laptop PC's that are wireless. I also have home built machines that run wireless. If that is something you are looking to do, you can get the adapter from newegg for a reasonable price

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833180074

Myself I use T-Link brand adapters which are a bit more pricey, and there are other brands as well. But YES, you could ABSOLUTELY turn your home PC into a wireless one with this router.

To clarify a bit. If your laptop/Nintendo wii/cell phone/X-Box already has wi-fi you of course need no adapter. The adapter would only be needed for non wifi devices.
