The listing, Dell Computer has ended.

Up for grabs is a Dell computer it comes with moniter, keyboard, mouse and tower. I have had this computer worked on several times and i am told it is in need of a new harddrive so i figure i would just let it go and maybe in a year buy a new computer. The computer comes as is this is for pickup however if you choose to have it shipped to you then you will be responsible for shipping. I am sorry I have only 1 spare laptop but it has a cracked screen and needs that replaced for around $200. I have a desktop that is currently on a RTO. I can suggest some one in Zanesville that sells used computers depending on if you want XP or a Linux based OS. Please send me a personal message via my profile.

I am saying that may be possible but i can't claim that without seeing the system. I am only going off what information you have stated on here but at $200 I could have replaced some parts that would have made it for the system to be running perfectly fine. Plus normally at half the price of a new system maybe a little less I would have recommended a New or Used system. Used systems can be around $150-300 and some depending on the specs.

Ah well sounds fishy to me. I am very into computers and for over 7 years worked on hardware and software. after the over 200 that you spent on it you should have had a great running system. You may not have lost everything if the HDD wasn't making a Clicking noise then the HDD wasn't failing and needing to be replaced. If there was a buzzing noise i bet you that was a Fan CPU or Power Supply going bad due to dust. Systems should be at least once every 3 to 6 months blown out due to dust. If it's a smoker systems should be blown out at 1-3 months depending on how heavy of a smoker. I may be able to offer my services but it is completely up to you.

if it's on and off you have to hit the power button that many times then there are more issues than the HDD. sounds like the Power switch might have issues and maybe even the motherboard. If he wasn't a IT Specialist or work at a IT Store with experience then I would say he may have lied to you to get the computer or something or thought he might be able to.

He has is own business he said he fixed computers for a living I paid 170 for him to work on my computer and it ran great for like a week then it blue screened again. I called him he came again another80 dollars he said my hard drive going bad he turned the computer off then when he went to turn the computer on it made a buzzing noise he had to do it several times before it finally booted back up. He did some computer tech stuff to it and said all fixed so it worked ok for about 2 days and it zapped out again this time tho I was in the middle of working on y book so I lost everything including everyfile on my computer like it wiped itself clean or something and its been hard to turn on since. Like I will get it to boot up then start looking at my sd cards or open word and after about 2 hours it shuts itself off thats y I figured I will just put it on here and someone who knows what there doing can either fix it or part it out im so disappointed I just want it gone.

it turns on sometimes the man said I need a new hard drive you have to turn it on and off and on and off until it fine boot up and sometimes it won't boot up that's why the man said I need a new hard drive I don't know what o s key is I'm not very computer literate I can't find the operating system sorry I'm not much help
