I have a Perm for a day rod kit. I used these along time ago when my 2 girls were small. These work great. You weave your hair back and forth on the clips and then put the purple plastic clip on the end to hold your hair.
No chemicals or solution and when your done and want your hair back to normal just wash.

3 X-small clips
33 purple clip holders
I'm not even sure if they sell these anymore. Makes your hair wavy sort of like when yoiu braid your hair and it comes out wavy. Used on damp hair and blow dryed or left on overnight makes the wave come out nice. Care should be used with the purple clips. to much hair at the end can crack the plastic holder.
