My Mother said she bought this black leather portfolio in the late 70's when she was with the PTA and it was gently used and then kept in enclosed totes in smoke/pet free home. Which means it is in Great condition and the leather, which is real, is still supple and no tears or any major condition problems. There are some slight can hardly see them whiteish marks on it; shown in the last 4 pics. If a really good leather cleaner was taken to this they probably would come out. Only noticed them because I was looking for condition marks while wiping it down with an unscented, non alcoholic baby wipe to clean it up for this auction. The zipper is in great condition works , no breaks or bends in the teeth and UTI is embossed on the zipper pull. There are rings for a longer strap which is not with it; don't know if there ever was. The inside is a polyester material, no tears or marks. There are no tags on this, just an inspection tag. no idea of the name brand or where bought from. It is 16 inches in length, 11 inches tall, 4 inches wide; extended, the inside is 8 inches deep, handles are 5 inches long. There are 3 big pockets; the middle has a generous zippered pocket and a smaller one, probably for business cards or a calculator. This would be great for a laptop or netbook.
