These cards are The Dark Crystal Cards. They are based on an old movie made in the 80's. If i remember right David Bowie played in the movie. I was little when I saw this movie. I have had these cards since I was little, too. In 1982 I was 7 years old. I am now 36 years old. They are in pretty good shape. I might have accidentally posted some of the pictures two times. The names of the cards are: 1. Kira at Home 2. Jen's Escape 3. Kira's Sacrifice 4. Jen in the Crystal Chamber 5. The two made one, by Gelfling hand 6. Jen's Dreamfast 7. The Leap 8. The Teeth of Skreesh. At the botto of the card it reads : The Dark Crystal and the character names are trademarks of Henson Associates, Inc. 1982 Henson Associates, Inc. Printed and made in the U.S.A. It also says collect all 78. I am guessing there were only 78 cards in the collection that were made.
