how many songs will it hold....Total? is there any software we need to put the songs on it?

approx. 220 songs, give or take some. and if you have a PC all you should need is Windows Media Player (that's what I used when I used it...the only reason I want to get rid of it is because I got a new ipod touch) and if you have a Mac all you need is Itunes! :)
