The listing, White iPhone 3GS 16GB (ATT) Please Read Description has ended.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BID!!!!! I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BIDS PLACED BEFORE READING!

Hi, up for auction is a white iPhone 3GS 16GB. This was used with At&t. The phone is in pretty good cosmetic shape, has some minor scratches on back, only real problem it has is the screen has a couple spots in it that are no longer responding to the touch, i.e. dead spots, other than that problem the phone functions as it should and is still usable. So with a new digitizer you'd have a good iPhone! The screen isn't cracked or broken. It will come with a white otter box, charger adapter and the USB/Sync cable. The phone is almost 2 years old and it is not unlocked/jailbroken. All personal files and data will be removed prior to sending. For the people who like to have a GIN price, I would have chosen to add that option, but currently my credits are tied up in other auctions, so I was not able to purchase GIN, sorry.

Info to the winning bidder, when you get the phone, on the lock screen, you'll have to slide your finger over a little faster than normal to unlock it.

This is running iOS 5.0.1

i seen one a couple of days ago of a keyboard to a slider phone that had been ran over, literally ran over said it in the description and it looked like it also. its amazing that people are running this down, it has to be one of the best looking and descriptive auctions i have seen on here. i would rather bid on one with problems and get it then win one that works and never see it.

But that only works with text and web browsing, the apps wouldn't rotate with the phone being turned sideways :(

I just turned the phone sideways where the screen flips and then the letters or numbers that were in the dead spot area work that way. I don't know about your area, but there are repair places around here that charge around $50 to replace the digitizer which is what it would need replaced. I seen replacements on Amazon for around $10 if your tech savvy, you could repair it yourself.

lol Yeah it still texts, if there's a letter that won't respond I usually turn the phone where the screen will flip and then it will type the letter I needed

Well no one is forcing you to bid, this phone is fixable tyvm!
Mar 5th, 2012 at 9:23:10 AM PST by
Original
All it needs is a new digitizer, which anyone can purchase off Amazon for around $10 and fix it themselves!

how hard is it to fix? I fixed my ps3 on my own and wouldn't mind trying my luck with this

I'm not real sure, never tried to fix one before, but there are videos on Youtube that show you how to fix it step by step

There's a spot right in the bottom middle of the screen which is why I said you have slide your finger over faster than normal to unlock it and there's another one around the far left side of screen where the number 1 key is on the onscreen keyboard

Thanks, this does need a new digitizer though, which is a cheap fix if you could do it yourself
