The listing, 49 Airmail, OverPrint & Diamond Shaped Stamps From 1930's has ended.
Winner receives everything in the first photo, the other photos are close up views.
Take a look at the 4 in the center, the two long diamond shaped and the one below is the overprinted "Aereo" stamp. (close up in photo #2, 3 & 4)
Info on the two diamond wide stamps:
Costa Rica, 1937, airplane flying over a volcano.
Both of these two have a nice clean front.
It's a great image, you can see the volcano below the plane is actively smoking.
"Aereo" stamp: (4th photo)
The Colombia stamp showing a waterfall
Originally a stamp that was not an airmail stamp.
Issued in 1948. The stamped "AEREO" in blue ink, turns it into an airmail stamp.
Two great colorful Colombia (the brown and green 6th photo). I don't see a lot of Canadian airmail stamps. Notice they do not say "airmail" but instead: AIR. (Showing an old plane with more flying overhead, and a Geese in flight).
Great lot of five, 1931 Cuba stamps (see photo # 7)
The three Canal Zone are from 1930's - 40's. (#8)
Take a look a the stamp from Algeria (ALgerie stamp, 4th from bottom). It shows storks flying over a Mosque and you can see the people wearing the long white covers the head and body, with only enough for their eyes exposed.
Though the Central Africa stamp (the vertical connected stamp) is fairly new (1969) it's a great stamp to have, because this stamp still has the attached brown label below. This stamp was issued to publicize the Philatelic Exhibition (stamp show).
A fantastic lot of foreign airmail stamps!
