awesome auction f&w diff could use this on my pc. plus now a days you can go right on line and download this stuff but who am i to talk i would rather have the disk. so it's wrong if i have a windows 7 product key on my computer and i download a disk off line people they just like to complain.
I've used computers for so long, anybody that tells me they have 5-6-7 years experience, i usually say.. "oh really, well i played oregon trail with your mom back in the day on my first pc kid"
Another problem is noted on the Disc: "INTENDED FOR DISTRIBUTION WITH A NEW PC" so that means this disc is against Listia RULES. Might want to check the rules and Include a NEW PC with it as the Disc states Clearly.
So report this post and have me sent to prison. How frikken TRIVIAL can a person be? I am GIVING AWAY what I am GIVING AWAY. If you don't like it, Tell Bill Gates.
sweet auction! And yeah even twelve year olds know that you dont have to have a certain key per certain disc. some people just like starting things. cool auction man :)
He wasn't dumb, he was being a troll. Just look at the crap he himself has already given away. Like that VISTA DVD for instance.. gee that looks STRIKINGLY SIMILAR to mine.
and yes you can just buy a key...i had a friend do that...it does not matter if you download the windows...as long as you have a lagit key that you purchased...i too work on computers.,.
Yeah, that dude is just an ass clown. I've been doing it for almost 30 years. I say screw him, if anyone isn't sure, just go to Microsoft's website and look yourself.
Here's a question.. what if the WINNER of this auction ALSO owns a PC with windows 7 x64 installed on it and doesn't have a recovery CD. Is it illegal for me to give them this dvd if they do in fact have a genuine Microsoft COA sticker applied to their machine but have a hard drive failure and need to completely reinstall their OS and were not provided with an OEM disc from the company who sold them their PC?
Look, I ain't a rookie. I know damn well people could EASILY use this to install windows 7 on their PC, but if they wanted an easier cheaper way, they would just download the damn thing with a torrent and use some kind of damn boot loader to activate their PC. Quit playing games.
The INTENT and USE of the software I am giving away is quite frankly, NOBODY'S DAMN BUSINESS.
The BURDEN lies with the winner of the auction to prove they are entitled to a windows 7 license by having a matching activation key to go along with their hardware's configuration.
It really AIN'T MY FRIKKEN PROBLEM if someone has an illigitimate use for it. There are TONS AND TONS of very legitimate reasons for wanting an authentic DVD and be ENTITLED to it.
There is NO POSSIBLE WAY, I would be able to do a background validation to prove what a bidders intentions are otherwise.
What if the WINNER built a new computer... installed this till the activation trial ran out.. then what???
THINK MAN.
It doesn't frikken matter if you used an authentic DVD or downloaded the damn thing from bareshare, all Microsoft cares about, is do you own a license with authentic COA. If you REALLY wanna cry about someone giving away a stupid AUTHENTIC DVD, you have serious issues.
What if the winner wanted to activate? The answer is... Microsoft allows you to either buy an activation key from them and they send you a COA, Or your a cheap ***** and use some type of boot loader.
BTW, I don't believe I am actually SELLING this, per say. I am bartering it for virtual credits. Nope, see nothing about that in the EULA. Still wanna see EVIDENCE FROM THE MICROSOFT WEBSITE to support any claims.
I am not wrong at all. Microsoft sells it's Software with key online as a download ISO which means Still DVD + Key together. All businesses have DVD's specifically for their computers. I am an IT Specialist for over 7 Years I am still learning about things but I have been in the Computer IT Field long enough to know how Microsoft works. They Never sell Keys unless you have preinstalled OS and can update by using that key if it's preinstalled for Ultimate, Professional or any upgradeable OS via Vista or 7. If you purchase a DVD with key you aren't suppose to sell/give only one away. They were purchased together. If you have a copy of this DVD you are illegally giving/auctioning this item.
One more comment for those who think a licence and DVD are to go together.
This is one of many bought in an OEM system builders 3 pack. 3 licences, went to 3 different machines to 3 different customers (well, one went to my daughter). But anyway. WHO rightfully owns the DVD? Me or all 3 customers who have valid licence keys?
If you purchase a Code with DVD you can't sell the DVD or give it away because the 2 go together. Whether someone needs this or not this is an auction that you may need to remove due to it's OEM and requires the items to be together. Free or not you can't just go to walmart ask for Windows 7 without Key if you already have one. They must sell you the whole package.
Wrong. they do not have to go together. If you think this is the case, then how do you suppose people install the OS on their system if they just buy an activation key? Microsoft allows you to, and EVEN PROVIDES THE FREE SOFTWARE to download Windows 7 and the software to create a bootable flash drive. By your own logic, Microsoft is breaking it's own rules.
look the key code has to go with this doen,t matter if its on a machine now you need to include the key code on paper or like that so we can use it ok or how will we be able to use it???? with out a key code??????????? yes if had the funds wouled bid on it.did you all know you can try microsoft windows 7 enterprise for 90 days thats all for IT PROFF-SHINALS ONLY DO AS SAYS SAY YOUR A IT WORKER TAKES 4HOURS TO GET THE ISO FILE ZIP USE WINZIP TO SEE FILES OK. AND THEN CLICK SETUP AND WILL IN STALL FRESH COPY ON TO HARD DRIVE REALLY NOT FOR HOME USERS.
Show me the link from Microsoft's own website which claims this. I have been building PC's for YEARS. If you think I'm not supposed to sell this DVD flag the auction and leave, no need to troll it.
I probably have a few of these discs somehwere. I order 3 pacs of OEM licenses all the time for my business. I get sent Genuine CD's & of course, I never really have a need for them because I do most installs via USB stick. Which is why I have windows 7 CD's WITHOUT the Authentication sticker. If you are looking for Windows 7 activated this would only be an auction for you, if you have already purchased an activation key separately and would like the software.
