This is an electric Tozai AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio.It is about as big as a softball is around and has a battery back-up.Its a nice little travel alarm.

No it works on electricity but has a battery backup so the alarm works if the power goes out

It takes a 9V and it is just a back up.If you lose power it has enough power to work just enough to run the alarm.TY
