Here is another one of my coins - a 1964 P Washington Quarter (90% silver)

The coin is bright and shiny.
All lettering, dates, and line details are clearly visible - actually more like an uncirculated coin

The 1st face picture is to show the lettering and details clearly. The second face picture is just to show how shiny the coin is.

I thought 1959 was last year they used circulated coins with silver in them.Is this a proof coin?

It is my undrstanding that the 90% silver Washington quarter dollars were minted through 1964. Clad coins and silver proofs began in 1965. My information comes from " The Official Red Book - A Guide Book of United States Coins 2012 " by R.S. Yeoman edited by Kenneth Bressett - 65th Edition published by Whitman Publishing.
