Im 5'1" and its fine on me . Byt i guess it would depend on your height . Also , would not recommend for cup size larger than 38D

Thats a great question , byt very hard to answer . I ordered it from trendsgal , which im assuming isnt from the US , and ive ordered lots of clothes that are xl in asian and have run like an xs , but this seems to fit like an american xl . At least thats how it fit on me . I wear xl american in bathing suit with 38D cup . I wouldnt suggest a cup larger than that . But it fit me fine . I hope this helps .

I heard someone say that they thought it seemed a bit short in the midsection, and I am 5 foot 5, so do you think it would be long enough on me? Considering I am a few inches taller than you? I guess what I am really asking is, do you think it would stretch with enough ease to fit me?
