Description
The listing, Canon Scanner has ended.
Canon Scanner, (CanoScan D1250U2F) about two years old, includes power supply, needs USB cable, works perfectly. Buyer pays shipping, (checks, cash or money order accepted) unit weighs about 7 pounds.
That seems like an accurate shipping costs. Weighs only 5 pounds but it's big, right, 9x12 or so? You're going to have to ship it by weight and zip code, but if you do it online with usps.com you'll get free delivery confirmation and a bit of a discount on the postage.
OK, do you want the scanner? The box would have to be 12x11x5 and weighs slightly over 7 lbs. If you want the scanner, please send shipping cost, check, money order or cash. I will give you my mailing address if you are interested.
I can't remember if I got an e-mail from you, but when you reply to a comment I automatically get an e-mail from you. I can only send you payment for shipping via Paypal, so please let me know if you can take Paypal. I am currently the high bidder, but if I win, but you can't take Paypal, you can just keep the credits.
I think you could get a LOT of credits for this if you offer free shipping. I understand it would be costly to ship though. If you don't get more bids you might want to put it on craigslist and try to sell it locally, rather than pay for shipping.
It would also be helpful if you could add a photo of the actual unit you are offering, instead of using this stock photo. If you contact Listia they will add a photo for you.
Thanks for all your comments, I can not take Paypal, I do not want to join them. The photo is the actual unit, I am not sure what you mean when you say "stock photo". I will just continue listing on Listia, not really interested in Craigslist.
Y'know, I've been having trouble with comments the last few days too. Sometimes it won't let me "reply" to the specific comment, which means the person who posted the comment doesn't get an e-mail with the response. Other times the comments just seem to disappear.
Hopefully they will get it straightened out. Listia does have occasional technical difficulties. They change stuff on the site all the time, so I'm sure it causes problems.
Okay, the problem is that you are not answering in the "reply" box. For example, on this comment it should show a little blue word "reply" at the bottom right of the box. You need to click on that to type in your reply, or I won't see it.
Or, maybe you are not waiting long enough after you click "submit." If you close the page right away, the comment doesn't get posted. Sometimes it takes 15 to 20 seconds.
You didni't cause problems! Listia takes a little getting used to, and so many people are using it now that sometimes their servers are slow. I've posted comments, then closed the page, and they didn't get posted because I closed it too quickly. Never happened before. My guess is that Listia constantly has to upgrade and tweak its systems, so sometimes things get a little confused!
