Description
The listing, 2HANDMADE JUTE CLOTHS AND BONUS COTTON WASHING BAG has ended.
Hand made by me. Two Crocheted Jute washcloths. Very large. All Natural. No dyes. They can be used for kitchen or bath cleaning. Can be used for dishes. Very strong and long lasting.
The 100% Cotton bag is hand crocheted and drawstring top to put a sponge or soap in. Soft and strong. Very long lasting. Use in the Tub or Shower for all over body cleansing. Very Luxurious.
They all last longer when hung to dry instead of put in the dryer.
Questions & Comments
Have you ever crocheted a drawstring type bag to put shopping (plastic) bags in?
Hi there. Did you get my email? I have not tried it yet but it sounds like a good project. What do you think would be a good medium for it? Cotton only or regular yarn? I am working on another secret project made from a commonly thrown out, recyclable product.
I'l List the new items for auction as soon as I've perfected it.
Thank you for your interest and let me know what you think of the bag saver. Deanna RoundTuit Place
Not yet but I definitely can try. I am also working on a very cool new secret project to recycle another common thrown away item. I will list one as soon as I can. If you'd like me to try the Bag holder, what were you thinking to make it out of? Cotton? Regular yarn? It sounds like a good project.
I've seen a bag saver b4 and actually have one. There is an elastic circle around the top and at the bottom. The top has a piece of material on it for hanging the bag saver also. I just think a crocheted one would be cute. How about a crocheted circular thingy to put a spare toilet paper roll in? I need to learn to crochet! LOL
You're right. they'd be really cute. Very Vintage looking I think. I am all ready formulating a plan. I think I have a recipe for the toilet paper cover in an old Annie's Attic from my Aunty. I'm going to check. I'll let you know first though. Thank you again.
Hey Deanna hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I saw something cute here on Listia that someone put up for auction under Books(bookmarks). They are crocheted worms!!! Now these YOU could make and sell! Just a thought. Sarah
I listed one the beautiful glass ones that I make but I think the picture doesn't do it justice. I only have 4 left and need to make more. They're a beautiful pattern. Very functional. I need to make a few purple ones again. They're always popular.
Those are adorable. they are a variation of the hair bows they used to make when I was little. that twist is used also in dolls/clowns that have those for limbs and plastic heads. It's a great design. What a wonderful Christmas boutique item.
Thank you. I think that I'm gong to post one of my beaded bookmarks when my husband finds the box they're in.
Thank you for the idea. Creating is such an addiction.
Love the jute cloths I won recently! Best after first wash. I use them for scrubbing, hot pad, turret & decoration. Lovely! Will you be listing some more of them? I need to gather more credits then see if you have more listed.
Yes I will be listing another set in about a week I think. I'm gong to add a bonus Sisel cloth. They are even tougher than the jute. I may list two sisel and a jute. Or both.haha. But definitely listing.
I am so glad you like yours. Good luck for the ones you want. Deanna RoundTuit Place
