this is a whistler xtr 550 radar detector, I paid $96 dollars for it and it has served its purpose for me, I used it while delivering pizzas and have moved and changed jobs and dont need it anymore. It works great,and has the cig. lighter plug wire to plug it in, just it didnt come with a dash holder, I used velcro and that worked fine. This saved me from many tickets, so its worth many bids :)

I have been trying to take a pic for you but something is wrong with my camera cable , the pic is not uploading to computer, sorry i have tried 3 times and still its not uploading, but it looks exactly like the pic I have on here, and yes I am new but I am reliable:) but I totally understand your worries I have been burned a few times by others here on listia, but im a good listia member:)

How old is it, do u have manual, and can it detect laser and radar both with three hundred sixty degree radius.thx

no manual, but its really easy to work, 2 yrs old and I am not sure about 360, but I will check and post it for you:)

whistler XTR550 the FCC ID is hsxwh21 and the model # is the xtr550 but the manufacterer# on the bottom of it is 76 16784R, hope this all helps :)

Does it detect both laser and radar.did you find out and does it have ability fot police to be unable.to detect you have it. Id like to bid but need to know these things.thank you much.

it has x,k,ka and super wide band ka detection/ 360 degree laser detection/ vg-2 detection/ 3 city modes and 1 highway mode/ its a radar detector not a radar jammer like the phaser/

Great auction!! I did do some research and found this: Currently the only state that it is illegal to operate a radar detector is Virginia and Washington D.C.. Hope this helps!!
