Description

The listing, Atari 2600 4-Switch Console System & Accessories plus 4 Games - all Tested has ended.

You are viewing an Atari system, four games and also some accessories, all in good working condition. The winner receives everything pictured: an Atari 4-switch wood-grain console with 2 paddles, 1 joystick controller, 1 tv switch-box (w/ coaxial adapter), 1 original Atari adapter, 1 RF cord, and 4 games (no cases or manuals).

The console system is very clean and tested /works, however a portion of the plastic casing is broken off on the left side, as seen in the second photo. The games have been tested - they include Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Combat and Galaxian. The game labels show some wear from normal use but the games work perfectly. I ship within the U.S. only. This lot will be sent with tracking, and shipping is free!

Beautiful piece! Just wanted to say this is the rarer 2600 rather than the black vector 2600. Good luck on who ever is bidding. I wouldnt be able to let go of it personally xD

Thanks - it is nice indeed, & pretty clean too....I already have one just like it (and also junior model) so I guess three would've been a crowd. Otherwise I'd be keeping this one for sure!

Ah, the Atari 2600-A.

My best friend in high school... which is actually kind of sad.

Since this one doesn't come with an owner's manual, I've tracked one down online:

http://www.eksys.com/electronics/Atari_CX2600_Manual.htm

Hopefully, it has enough information to help the winner get it connected to their TV (it's pretty easy with older televisions, but a bit trickier with new ones that don't have the two VHF screws on the backs of them). Luckily, zappaphile shows the cable adapter connected to the switch box so that it should plug directly into the back of the TV where the coaxial Cable/Antenna port is. It doesn't show an impedance matching transformer connected to the other end of the switch box, though.

If you're going to plug a Cable TV coaxial TV antenna into it, you may need to pick up one of these and attach it to the switch box on the end marked "TV".

75/300 Ohm matching transformer

Hopefully, this may help whomever wins. :)
