The listing, HP Vista System Disk has ended.

This is Vista OS for a Hewlet Packard computer it will not work on any other type computer. 2 disks never used, it came with our computer but we had XP put on ours before it came home with us.

well do you think it might work on a dell? i had a dell windows xp disc and used on a gateway and it worked successfully.

No this will not work on a Dell, I also have Dells and this immediatley says, "this is not a HP computer" then shuts down

I'm a computer builder. It would but you would need to go to command prompt. Which is dos prompt. It's thrue your bios.

the gateway because dell and gateway are the same company. This should work on a compaq though because compaq is made by hp
