very pretty black thin band (could be pewter) with an oval light blue stone and 4 white/clear stones. I believe it is size 9. there are markings, but they are worn and very hard to read, sorry.

I would say that it is NOT tarnished, the metal is naturally a dark grey color, I was told it is possibly pewter, but I cannot make out the stamp. if any of our wonderful Listia watchers can make out the stamp (photo above), maybe they would enlighten us ? hope that helps...

If you turn the marked side upside down it looks like 925 to me. That would prove its sterling.
