This is relisted...someone flagged it for some reason..there are other ivory pieces on listia being auctioned....this is something ive had forever and i bought at a auction.please read the card in the photo.

I've been trying to get rid of the rabbit feet - I have 7 - and know what happens to rabbits when they're harvested, (OMG) for whatever parts people decided to take from them. I won't go into it here, but in the rules, it says "Livestock, Pets, Animals" and then says, "including pelts and skins." It's not the bone, but the skin that should be removed. Listia is doing nothing and many of us have flagged. So, someone interpreted this auction as livestock, animals, or pets, which it is none of those.
I doubt this is "real" ivory, as mentioned above, and this set is lovely. Keep on, keeping on! My friend Marjory here on Listia just sold a set this week!

the very week mine got flagged a moderator had that beautiful one that was carved into roses and it went really high...im a big animal rights person...this was supposedly carved in hawaii so it is probably walrus tusk or something like that...i just really dont know myself about ivory..when i bought it at an estate sale the little card was inside the box with it..

i worked on a farm before i moved here...they had lots of animals..i raised an emu when it just hatched and it thought i was its momma.sweetest thing i ever saw..we had pot bellied pigs,cows,horses,chickens,peacocks,guineas,emus,llamas.,dogs,70+,cats30+,i took care of all these for them...

You're a good woman. I have 13 animals, three of them are ponies. It's a labor of love. I live in the pacific northwest coast and find bones from birds and sea lion and seals on the beach all the time! You should file a support ticket,

Well there is a good chance it is real ivory, I have a set of real ivory jewelry that is of carved roses and I believe the carved roses style was very popular with ivory. Just saying...+ she did the test
