So, how many do you get for the GIN?

Right, but you have it listed with a GIN of 56000, which is why I asked. Do you still get 20 seeds for it having reached 50000 and the extra 6000 is just the "extra cost" for being able to get it now?

Also, is it too late in the season to plant these for blooming this year? Is this best planted in the spring? Can it be grown as a houseplant? I'm curious because this has such a cool-looking flower.

That is correct, I am just paying for the GIN with the extra for those who do not like to sit and bid. I do not know where you live so I cannot answer the other question. I am in ag zone 6b and plant them in the spring. Yes they have a cool flower and look very cool planted in bunches. I planted them last year mixed with white moonflowers and the different greens and the white versus the orange looked nice. If I remember correctly these started blooming in July and I had color the rest of the summer into the fall which I like as so many flowers have such a short-lived time frame. I have never tried to grow them inside but it is an interesting thought. I would think it would do fine as a houseplant and possibly bloom even more than it does outside. It does get to about 36 or more inches so rather tall for inside but depending on how your home is laid out..... I send them still in their little husks to help protect the seeds plus my fingers took a real beating removing those husks. You will I am sure receive more than 20 as I have plenty
