Well here is another lot of rocks....The rocks speak for themselves...they would make an awesome addition to your already one or if you are just starting out these would make an excellent start...the 13th picture which is the cluster of round rocks, I have a few of these and was not going to get rid of any of them, cause they are getting very hard to find, but I decided to let one of the small ones go, the black container the round rocks are in, does not go...All the rocks in pics are Natural an unpolised...I can honestly say that who ever gets these ..Will be very happy... ATTENTION.... Will add extras to this lot....

Volcanic Rocks. These form deep (Usually in the sand) somewhere where a volcano IS ~or~ WAS present. =) Lovely Quartz, By the way!

Hey Mel, just a small piece of info ... I grew up in Granbury TX, not far from Glen Rose, and Comanche Peak is a dormant volcano !!!

Beautiful! High value - when the crystals form going in different directions ... The darker the luster of the crystal/geode - citrine (yellow to burnt orange)... the featured photo, the hotter the temperature when the crystals formed make the color darker ... Many stones are "altered" after found to create this darker color by heating them ... This one is natural ... VERY Nice!

My step dad worked in the oil fields and we found that out in some of the geological studies he came across !!!
He also worked at the "plant" for several years after he got out of the oil business !!!

not sure really what they are, but they are found very deep in sand, toriwatkin1979 say they are Volcanic Rocks, they are found around Glen Rose Tx, I've never heard of Volcanos around here, but we have not heard of Earth Quakes around here either, but we have had a couple of them here lately, so they could very well be...the friend that finds them say they are getting harder to find, I have bought some big pieces of the clusters from him, and his not finding many of those anymore, so i'm haging on to them...these round ones are all different shapes, sizes & forms..
