This is such a pretty shade of tourmaline, I bought this stone at the museum in the city of Golden Colorado at the Colorado School of Mines, they have some of the most amazing minerals I've ever seen, but you can't buy 95% of them.

The setting I bought specifically for this stone, it's gold plated and was made in the traditional early Art Deco period that was about clean simplicity though it was still slightly influenced by Art Nouveau as you can see in the branch like V's. I love how the gold compliments the bluegreen of the stone.

It has no signs of wear, scratches or warping.
