The listing, Mother of Pearl coin size peice w Asian scene painted horses people cow has ended.
An amazing Mother of Pearl piece with an asian scene painted on it.This was with many other asian items from the 40's and newer but I dont know how old it is.
I cant find any seams that would mean it was a sticker.
This was really painted on there with a varnish put over it.
The peice is 1 1/2 inches across and 3/16 thick.
It was possibly from a pendant or belt buckle.
Tiny hair thin detail of people, trees, tent, cow, horses, and dogs. Even the tent and clothes have tiny details.
A neat piece I hope someone will enjoy.
