Hello Listia fans!

I really enjoy using Listia as a platform to share my art with others. It is great as an artist to learn how to GIVE drawings away, and great for all you budding art collectors too! I get to experiment with many styles of art and hopefully everyone will find something they like.

This is a Tryptic, meaning there are THREE PAINTINGS here! Each is artist trading card size, 2.5x3.5 inches. Loosely painted with watered down latex paint on rough sketch paper, then detailed with pen and ink.

Inspired by beautiful Chinese paintings, here I have some stylized koi/beta fusion fish, as well as some peonies.

The colors have been washed out considerably by my scanner, and I am loathe to edit the colors on my computer because no matter what I do it will not look the same as in person.

Ships for free to Listia verified addresses in a card to avoid bending.

I like to have my auctions end on Saturday or Sunday so I can mail these out Monday morning, meaning be quick with your address to receive these faster!

Thank you! This was actually the last I made out of the three sets and by the time I got to it my wrist had really loosened and I was able to let the paint flow. Using pencil or pen we have to use a much stiffer hand!

I bet that has to do a lot with why I like it. I'm particularly stiff handed and it takes me a lot to loosen up. This has the elegant expressive looseness I love to see but don't achieve personally very often. Plus I love the colors which I also don't use very often :) I hope I have the internet up by the end of this auction.

lol. It is so funny that we always want to do what we can't do, but those who can would like to do what we do lol. Even knowing I am made to make my art I still catch myself in that thought process. I'm learning to just enjoy others work without the pressures. I love that here I can' win it and enjoy it without feeling like I have to make it :)
