Description

The listing, STRAWBERRY PLANTS **** (NOT SEEDS) has ended.

You are bidding on 5 (minimum) Young Strawberry Plant

** Picture above is from my mature plant and not the one you will be getting **

whatever amount I could fit in a small flat rate shipping box (5 3/8" x 8 5/8" x 1 5/8") 5-10 plant is my estimate.
The leaf is starting to sprout so, hurry before it gets too big to be ship in a small flat rate box.

My strawberry plants (I think it's the everbarring kind) are growing like mad and I don't want to have an overcrowded strawberry patch so, I have tons of strawberry suckers (some have many leaflet and roots starting already) to share with you.

I will send the plant in a plastic bag inside the box to keep the box dry and keep some moisture inside for the plants before it gets to your hand. If you would like me to wrap the plants in newspaper (for frost protection) when I send them out please let me know once the auction ends.

PS. You probably will get less amount of plant if you request for newspaper wraps.

I am in central IL and have never planted strawberries. Is it ok to plant them this early?

Yes, it is very easy to grow. I gave some to my neighbor the other day and it already have a lot of roots on this baby plants so you have a good start for sure. We still have a few days of snow here and there in WA but the baby plant just kept growing and doesn't seem to be bother by it. This is the best time to transplant them.

Hope this answer your question.
