Thank you, Jessica. I am glad to be able to find others that list Autism items like me. I buy then to give the proceeds to Autism Awareness and then list them here to share with others. I am so glad you won my coin pouch I had up for Autism. I now have the key fob up for auction again. I hope you are able to get that if you want it. Hugs to you and yours.
I have two boys that are Autism. One is 18 with PDD and is very smart and social, but lacks common sense mostly. The other is Asbergers and is very to himself, but is very smart, has good grades but has issues with his frustrations, hence Asbergers. He is 15, turning 16 in one month. I have an older daughter 22 whom was not affected by this. Plus I have 3 step children, the youngest is 16 with emotional issues. So my life is full and very busy most times, but I deal the best I can. Hugs to you all.
No way! Jessica, you can't possibly have a 15 year old! U don't look old enough I have a question, do you have more than one of these bumper stickers. My BFF has a 17 year old with autism (by my ex-husband) I really want to get one of these for her if I can.
I would love to get a few things for my friend. Her son is in the stage where he refuses to speak to her. He became violent and had to be placed in a group home. She has been so heart broken over it. He lived with her until he was 15 and she did everything she could to keep him in the home.
my boy is trying to be more independent. but he hasn't shown any tendencies towards violence. Puberty does a number on their delicate systems . * and yes my boy is 15 will be 16 in August. i am an old gal I just turned 40(shhh don't tell)
Babe, I was 40 before my kids got out of elementary school! I'm 53 now with two kids in college!
I LOVE this sticker and I'll bet these will be VERY popular on Listia if you have (or can get) a bunch and keep them listed. It's amazing how many people are affected by autism. My daughter in college just joined a group of students who work with autistic kids one day a week. She is interested in becoming a neurologist, possibly to work with autism. We had a dear friend her age who was autistic, but had a sad ending. The new research and findings on autism and other brain disorders is incredible. I think we will have some solid answers sooner than later!
All the BEST to your son and your family! If I win this I'd like you to send it to my daughter, she would love this for her bulletin board!
I have a good source i can get bunches - I had the car magnet but it kept getting stolen off my car , so i switched up to a sticker- that way if some one needs one they can ask me -
