i totally agree there needs to be more awareness out there about autism I have a 9 1/2year old son that is pdd-nos(falls into autism umbrella not enough from each catagory to be put in one group) has touretts syndrone, is bipolar, ocd,odd, intermittent explosive,sensory intragration dysfunction, adhd, and until you have encountered a special needs child you have noooo idea what they go thru on a daily basis the wondering what kind of melt down or when is the next one going to happen and over what.people just look at you like you and yourchild are crazy

yeah I hear that - I have a profile photo on FB that says - My child has Autism ,questions are welcome - parenting advice is not - just kind of sums up the whole going to the store ordeal

I raise my nephew until he enter kindergarten, my sister / his mom is taking care of him. Long Story behind that, but yeah I do really hope they do take Autism seriously like any other health problems. Fanned & Watching! Thanks
