Very beautiful patterns!! I donate these types of items to a senior center & they always enjoy them for gifts or fundraisers..fanned/watching/bidding :)
I hate to give away my age but there is some serious nostalgia here....I would love to try those round box patterns..Sadly I do not have the time for cross stitch anymore..I gave them 2 totes of my unfinished projects & they performed miracles..lol..I also donate crafts supplies to a women/children crisis shelter to help them keep their mind off of everything & have a little something for their new homes that many of them go to..Always a great way to recycle what I do not use anymore..Ty for your valuable time..didn;t mean to write a novel :)
I know what you mean. I'm 66 and the arthritis in my hands make tiny needlework difficult. Most of what I've listed here was inherited from my husbands great aunt. She was very crafty too. I bought an embroidery machine a few years back. I thought I'd give it a try. Maybe it'll be easier on my hands. I still loves crafts, sewing, drawing and painting. Getting older is frustrating. I like your idea of donating to the senior center or crisis centers. I'm limited as to how much of the free shipping I can afford so donation sounds like a good alternative.
