WOW---LOVE THESE. Trying to get as many stapelia varieties as I can. This is my latest plant to be found. Stapelia is a great plant---but they DO have one drawback~~the pretty little bloom has the smell of rotting meat!! The bloom doesn't last long---and does not bother me unless I SNIFF the flower up close. But some folks are sensitive to the smell---so be aware!! Some plant lovers simply set the pot outside in the shade, until the bloom fades---simple as THAT!!
Each piece has pointed spikey LOOKING spines--but will NOT poke ya. Blooms you can see in Photo # 1. This auction is for two pieces to give you a nice start. For anyone who loves succulents---this is a MUST HAVE PLANT!!

How long will it take to grow them to bloom?

They take a short time to root and start growing--usually about 2 months. As far as blooming---I shared some starts to a bidder last month and got a note last week that it was already BLOOMING. I was surprised to have it happen that quick. They bloom in the summer though---Hope that helps!! :o)

I have great luck with most plants... I owned a landscaping company for years. Just don't know about the smell! LOL

Oh WOW---That is great!! As far as the smell--I can't smell them at all. Guess some people can--but I can't. :o)
