i dont know! i found these at the bottom of an old box of my great grans,she passed away when i was 12.a long time ago! i inherited the house in 2000,when my dad passed. i'll be listing lots more old things later on, the p.o. loves me as thats where all my $ is going these days!

LOL! these are shoe stretchers that they used to use back in the '40's, 50's and 60's and still some in the "70's. They used to put them in their shoes at night, to help keep their shape and to stretch them if they were tight. These look adjustable, so they may have been used more for stretching. but very interesting none the less! =0)
