The listing, Cindy's Famous "Meaningful Beauty" Melons (10 seeds) has ended.
This Luscious Melon has the same effect as Viagra, scientists discovered recently.
The juicy fruit is packed with citrulline, a compound that relaxes blood vessels – just like the famous blue pills — researchers at the North Carolina State University have found.
Melon is a cosmetic antioxidant ingredient that is getting some attention, perhaps for no other reason than it is in the Meaningful Beauty line fronted by Cindy Crawford. The other day, I noticed a variation on the melon theme in Glytone Antioxidant Serum $120.
The combination of melon extract and Hydroxypropyltrimonium Maltodextrin Crosspolymer is being marketed as Extramel, a potent antioxidant. It is supposed to come from a new melon species (we aren’t told which one) that has three or four times the lift span of an ordinary one. The makers of Extramel have encapsulated the melon’s superoxide dismutase (SOD) and, thereby, claim to have made it more effective at phytoprotection.
Atioxidants in the Melon
The melon comes from the south of France, according to Aaron Piertzen, a writer for Sensitive Skin Care. The potent antioxidant is extracted from the melon and then added to the skin. Antioxidants protect the skin from free radicals, such as sun and the stress of everyday elements. An enzyme in the melon is mixed with the skin to protect it from the harm that causes wrinkles.
Charentais Cantaloupe
Charentais cantaloupe is the actual name for the "miracle" melon used in the skincare line. Mother Earth News says that these melons, from France, are delicious. The melons have thick skin, with orange flesh in the middle, like other melons. They too have small seeds. The skin of the cantaloupe is a light yellow and said to have an amazing aroma, exotic and perfume like.
These seeds are from this years "Johnny's Select Seeds" catalog.
