FREE: DIDJ modification chip

To be honest I don't know exactly what these are and what they do. They came with the DIDJ that I bought on EBay. From what I have been able to gather online these can be soldered into a DIDJ to turn it into a handheld linux device. I looked up the manufacturer and here is thier info: Now is your chance to get a fully populated soldered and tested DJHI V2.8. The boards were custom designed to match the exact thickness of an original game cartridge.
This design has been proven to work with both the DIDJ and the Explorer
The Surface Finish of the boards are ENIG (Electroless Nickle/Immersion Gold) and is RoHS.
The led color is chosen at random when you order this version.
May be Green, Red, or Yellow
I also went to Hack a day .com and got this info: Lucky for hackers out there, the Didj is actually a linux device, and gaining serial console access is as easy as soldering two wires. The documentation out there is a little outdated, with a number of broken links and stale wikis, but $25 for a portable linux device is a hard deal to beat.
