Van Cleef was born Clarence LeRoy Van Cleef, Jr. in Somerville, New Jersey, Jan 9th. 1925

His first film was, "High Noon" in 1952 and went on to star in "The Man who Shot Liberty Valence" and every western movie lover out there, "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" W/ Clint Eastwood.

He almost always played the villain. And appeared 6X as the villain in the classic Kit Carson films.

The role of the hard ass police officer that sends "Snake Blisken" into New York to rescue the president, in "Escape from New York"!! An actor that has always stood the test of time.

Starred in or was featured in over 100 films from 1922 -1989.
