Description
The listing, Original World War II RED CROSS waving medic Flag lapel or pocket tab pin has ended.
Offered is another World War II era RED CROSS Flag shaped lithographed metal tab approximately 1" by 5/8".
This lapel pinback tab is a diecut image of a Red Cross medic flag waving on a flagpole, typically issued to raise funds for the World War humanitarian effort.
Above the flag is a white metal fold tab. The top circle on the tab is print stamped with union bugs or logos.
There is some slight wear over time. I am finding these examples among my political item pinback collection. As I do not collect them I am offering this last Red Cross tab to others who may collect Red Cross items.
Thank you for asking. It is WW II authentic. It was acquired with a Red Cross pin dated 1936 as well as other pins that were World War II and prior (such as Liberty Loan pins). I have collected political and other pins and tabs for many years and am very careful under the US Hobby Protection Act to only offer original items, no reproductions or replicas.
Very nice. I've been collecting WWII memorabilia for about 4 years. I've picked up some stuff online and some direct from the veterans. I'll be watching this to see if I could add it to my collection. Fanned you.
Thank you. Would you be interested in WW I as well? I have a 1918 World War Fourth Liberty Loan lithographed pinback button made by J Lynch of Chicago that I may list in a later auction if you are interested.
