Very hard to put an actual price on laminations or die chip and cracks as there are no books made for these. So, it's usually whatever the market will bear as to how much someone is willing to pay. Laminations occurred on mostly all Lincoln Cents at some point but mostly from the Philadelphia Mint in general. Best guess is that whoever was supplying Philly with their copper/bronze stock had problems with getting their alloy mixes correct which resulted in this peeling. Brass streaked and "Woodies" were also a result of this problem.
