Description

The listing, Antique Art Nouveau pin has ended.

Front and back of very old art nouveau pin measuring about 1 1/4" x 1 1/8" and if I were to keep it, I'd probably gold leaf the top, as it does show it's age.
It's very beautiful and any lover of this style of jewelery would be happy to have it.
It features a doe or similar mammal.

I use the most basic mailing method - I go to the post office window and get a receipt. If you want delivery confirmation, you can paypal .80 to me. If you don't pay the tracking fee, then you agree to my terms, no refunds.
Please have a look at my feedback record, if you have any concerns.

Yes, it's very sweet! My Mom has used gold leaf. I believe that you put a type of glue or base (kind of like a primer in painting, I think) specifically for gold leaf, and then you place the gold leaf sheet or pieces on and rub them in. I'm sure there are directions somewhere. I've never done it, but did have a "kit" and seem to recall that there were two or three steps involved. For me, that would be the loveliest way of restoring this to it's true beauty.
As to the fan part, it doesn't matter! I know you can find me and I most certainly know how to find you! :) Oh, just thinking about the jeweler part of the question - if you did that, you'd have it plated. which would probably be far superior and I would have no idea as to cost. :) Thanks for your bid!
