This is a surgical grade steel, 14g, 3/8" tongue ring. Both the top and bottom detach from bar. The top is a star with a clear gemstone in the center. The gemstone is pressure-set. The bottom is a ball. This is unused. I do not have an autoclave, so I cleaned it with alcohol. I recommend that you also clean it before use. You may take it to your piercer. They will clean it for you, or even autoclave it. Some do it free, but others have a small fee.Free shipping--Trusted Seller
