The listing, Dog Collar - Medium size dog - free shipping has ended.

This is a blue collar that slips over the head, then you tighten it, there is no buckle. The diameter is 6" across, which means it should silp over a dogs head that is max 6" across. Note: This also has a choke chain function.

This was on a dog I pulled as a rescue from a home, a private deal. This is what he came in. I took it off and he never wore it again. So for the record, I do not use any choke chains on animals. Please don't start that debate here, comments will be removed.

I work in rescue as well and too many times I have seen dog with imbedded collars or harnesses. It's a painful & totally preventable abuse that occurs FAR too often.

All I do is rescue. Like all tools, they have their place. This collar is nice because it does give that little reminder control without the total chain. Two things happened here. I took this dog out of a household that was wrong for him. He has resource guarding issues they were not qualified to work with or live with. Excellent people with good intent. They rescued him. #1. Old house, old memories, old collar is not acceptable. He got a fresh start, so this was taken off him and put away. Secondly, I do not like slip over collars : )

I also rescue dogs and puppies too.A few horses once in a while too.If, they have collars I take them off and get new ones on them.I prefer leather collars but will use nylon.I had many with those nasty chain spike collars come in.I just toss to trash can.fanned you and bidding on some of your other things.
