Pididdly Links is a costume jewelry company that was formed by Steve & Elise Pittelman in 1969 in Lake Katrine, New York. Elise was the main designer for the company, which created antique reproduction pieces (including pins, earring, necklaces, bracelets, and barrettes) in Victorian, Art Nouveau, and other decorative styles. The jewelry mostly has a gold-tone finish and Swarovski crystals and is gold plated over brass or bronze. One source on the internet stated that she started Jeweled Creations after selling Pididdly Links, making jeweled bird palaces, pins and magnets. This piece was passed to my grand mother from her daughter who traveled much, and was found in her basement after she passed,so I don't know how old it really is. Though it has no markings for gold, I think it's lovely with the sparkling amethyst, the filigree heart front and the Victorian bow lulling the locket. The only mark on it is the Pididdly Links.
