The listing, WOOD CARVED FLOWERS PRIMITIVE-FOLK ART has ended.

Up for your consideration is a piece that was actually a practice run for me. I have never carved into wood. My hubby has always done the carving, and then I would do the paint finish. Well, now I can say that I too have made a wood carving! It is far from perfect (who likes perfect anyway?), but I gave it a try, and I really like the way it turned out. The flowers on this piece have a very playful and primitive look.The background is like a lemon-lime green,with an antique finish. A lot of times I find that loveliness comes from just being Quaint and serene.This piece is very folksy and sweet, with an almost child like simplicity. All of your comments are welcomed and encouraged,but guys remember...this is the first time I have done this! so take it easy on me...lol ***Measurements will be added shortly*** PLEASE NOTE THIS IS DONE ON A PIECE OF SCRAP WOOD WITH A WIRE HANGER ON THE BACK!...Thanks!
