On the back of the card there was only one stat line..So I described it as his first season....

Its strange...When I was a kid a Rookie Card was an NFL Players First pro Season. (released after the first year) i.e. Walter Payton 1975 Now they switched it to Before the first year after college. So they started using the term "Rookie" and "True Rookie" to keep up with other sports. Confusing but still a lot of fun.
