If you only have one book on the subject I would want it to be this one. Amber K. explains the fundamentals of how magic works and what it really is. There is some stuff in here that every magical practicioner needs to know, and judging from some of what I have read on-line, not to many do! She includes all of the basics, grounding, centering, ect.,the rules of magic, lists of basic tools, correspondences, how to find a teacher, how to cast a circle, how to perform ritual, basic spells, and continuing your education. After reading this book, I realized that magick was not at all what I thought it was, but something I still wanted to be a part of(even more so). I feel inspired each time I read it. If you can only buy one book, make it this.
